There is no absolute link between the British Royal Family and the Freemasons. However, by tradition [and no more] the Grand Master of The United Grand Lodge of England [UGLE] is a member of the Royal Family.

However, there have been some members of the British Royal Family who were known to be Freemasons in the past.

For example, King George VI, who reigned from 1936 to 1952, was a member of the United Grand Lodge of England, which is the governing body for Freemasonry in England and Wales. His brother, the Duke of Kent, was also a member of the United Grand Lodge of England and held the position of Grand Master from 1939 until his death in 1942.

Other members of the British Royal Family who have been associated with the Freemasons include Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, who has held the position of Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England since 1967.

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was also a Freemason and held various positions in the organization.

It should be noted, however, that membership in the Freemasons is a private matter and not publicly disclosed. Therefore, it is possible that there are other members of the British Royal Family who have been associated with the Freemasons but have not been made public.
