Scientology is a religion that was founded in 1954 by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard.

It is based on the belief that humans are immortal spiritual beings called “thetans” who have lived through many past lives, and that through Scientology practices, individuals can remove mental and spiritual barriers to achieve greater spiritual awareness and personal freedom.

The Church of Scientology has attracted a number of celebrity followers over the years, including Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and Kirstie Alley.

However, it is not uncommon for celebrities who practice Scientology to keep their involvement private. While the official Scientology website lists many prominent members, there may be others who are not publicly acknowledged by the church.
